“We’re done when I say we’re done.”
I considered knocking on the neighbor’s door and giving them a high-five.
Slutty Vampire Meth Heads
Beth and I finished watching the second season of True Blood last night. It took me nearly all of the first season to become interested in the show but now I can’t wait to find out what is going to happen to Bon Temps, LA. The third season premiered tonight and I would love to watch it live but shudder to think about how much Comcast would charge us for HBO. It would probably be more per month than it would cost to buy the entire season on iTunes. We’ll resort to “other methods” to watch it for now. If I had an Apple TV or comparable device to get content to the television I would probably but it on iTunes.
My other favorite series, Breaking Bad, had its third season finale tonight. It was another show that I caught up with after it started when I heard coworkers discussing it. My boss and coworker also watch the show; I get a kick out of the couple minutes we spend on Monday or Tuesday hashing out what we think will happen next. This was another show that I didn’t love at first due to the initial problems Walt & Jesse were faced with. I thought the finale would have more resolution than it did. The writers instead created more conflict to fuel next season. I yelled something at 10 o’clock when the credits flashed because I hadn’t watched the time and didn’t think they would end the season where they did. Yet I admire them for doing so.
